Beatroots are back after a wild launch night back in November. We are taking over The Other Rooms again for some of the funkiest techno around with Laktic records owner Raul Mezcolanza. From Barcelona Raul is going to be playing some of the funkiest techno you've ever heard.

In front of decks he has demonstrated his professional endowments with a personal style inspired in the techno style. He has shared decks wit artists like, Laurent Garnier, Ben Sims, Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Larkin, Cristian Varela, Oscar Mulero, Regis, Adam Beyer, Mark Williams, Paul Mac, Mark Broom, Marko Nastic, Valentino Kanzyani, Dj Len Faki, Christian Smith, Dj Murphy, etc. His dj facet is under the influence of technophile artists with the weight of Ben Sims, Joey Beltram, The Advent, Bryan Cox, Dj Sneak... of whom has been able to squeeze the best, synthesize and create his own ego. His techno-hardgroove productions contain rhythmic sounds with a touch of tribalistic elements, funky and disco.

Backed up with some of Newcastle's hottest local dj's - Kai Foyen, Kev Jennings + Mick Lindsay & Dan Hawkins it's shaping up to be a quality techno party.
